The London Lions have strengthened their backcourt ahead of the 2026/27 season with the signing of guard Joshua O'Garro, who arrives fresh off his first senior Great Britain call-up.
O'Garro, 24, joins the Lions after making his GB debut during the current FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifying window, capping a remarkable rise for a player who only secured British citizenship earlier this year. Born in George Town, Cayman Islands, he first made his name by winning a National League title and representing the Cayman Islands at youth international level before taking his game to the United States.
The 6'6" guard arrives in London following a standout final season at California State University Northridge, where he established himself as one of the Big West Conference's most versatile two-way players.
