This weekend's FA Cup third round produced some incredible moments from up and down the English footballing pyramid. There were a myriad of eye-catching results with non and lower league sides showing that the magic of the cup is still well and truly alive. The highlight of the round was arguably Cambridge United’s victory at Newcastle. In front of a packed out St James’ Park, Joe Ironside’s 56th minute winner was enough for the struggling League One side to progress to the fourth round where they'll face Luton Town. Eddie Howe’s honeymoon period is over before it began and the loss to Cambridge United signals a deeper issue on Tyneside - penny for the thoughts of new signing Kieran Trippier. Take nothing away from Cambridge United however, this was the result of the round.
