Samsung just started mass-producing its first PCIe Gen6 enterprise SSD, the PM1763, and the numbers are big. Up to 28,400 MB/s reads (nearly 2x the previous Gen5 flagship), 21,000 MB/s writes, and 6.8 million random read IOPS, built on a new 4nm controller and 9th-gen V-NAND. Samsung says a rack of 42 of these hit 281 million IOPS when GPUs talk to them directly. It’s tuned for liquid cooling and scales up to 61.44TB per drive.
