* 8 oz short pasta (penne, shells, or rigatoni)
* 2 beef sausages, sliced
* 1½ cups frozen sweet corn (no need to thaw)
* 1 green bell pepper, diced
* 1 shallot, diced
* 3 garlic cloves, minced
* 3 oz cream cheese
* ½ cup half-and-half
* ¾ cup reserved pasta water
* 1 tbsp butter
* ½ tbsp oil
* 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
* 1 tsp chili powder
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* ½ tsp smoked paprika
* ½ tsp ground cumin
* Juice of ½ lime
