If you’re wearing a single pair of gloves, 4 mil gloves work well and still allow you to feel the tissues comfortably. However, if you’re performing intraoral buccal massage with two pairs of gloves, I recommend using 2 mil gloves. Because you’re wearing two layers, the overall thickness is similar to a single pair of 4 mil gloves, allowing you to maintain excellent tactile sensitivity while following proper hygiene protocols. I use grapeseed oil for all of my facial treatments for three reasons: • It is non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types. 
• It has a very mild, neutral scent. 
• It has virtually no taste, making it ideal for intraoral work. I always use oil during buccal massage because I want to protect the client’s oral mucosa.
