Several local bars and eateries began hosting events to watch the American iteration of the British dating reality show, which first aired in 2015 and went on to spawn several international versions. The idea of the watch parties is to replicate the electric and rowdy energy that game nights create for sports fans, for reality TV fans. Season 7 has been trending on social-media platforms, so it will be that much more exciting when fans vote for their favorite couple who will then decide if the coveted $100,000 prize is shared or not.
