Last year for my birthday, my mentor gifted me this amazing book, The Making of ALIEN by J.W. Rinzler. As most of you may well know, this movie changed my life, so this gift is significant and well-loved in my home. About a third through the book there’s this awesome photo of H.R. Giger, the artist responsible for the famous Xenomorph, and other terrifying creatures featured in his Necronomicon. I keep finding myself drawn to this photo of him and his little familiar. It’s like you can’t tell where he begins and where the kitty ends. Two black cats. Anyway, thought I’d share this doodle I did. #hrgiger #giger #alien
