I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend and got outside to enjoy this beautiful state. That is what I love to do. I have been fishing my whole life. I am a fourth-generation Idahoan, and I knew how to cast a line before I knew how to drive. Good gear can look new after years of use when you take care of it. That is also how I think about Idaho. When you value something, you protect it. Our rivers, lakes, forests, wildlife, and public lands need leadership that treats them like part of who we are, not assets waiting for the highest bidder. Governor Little chairs Idaho’s Land Board. Under his leadership, Idaho sold 160 acres of state endowment land near the Tetons to an LLC tied to a billionaire out of state. That should concern every Idahoan who hunts, fishes, camps, hikes, floats, or wants their kids to enjoy the same places they grew up loving.
