The Toronto International Film Festival has officially unveiled its opening-night lineup for the 2026 festival, with ‘Being Heumann’ set to open the festival on September 10. 👏 ‘Being Heumann,’ an Apple Original film, tells the inspiring true story of Judy Heumann, the trailblazing disability rights activist who transformed accessibility around the world, with Ruth Madeley taking on the lead role. It is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Siân Heder, best known for the 2022 Best Picture winner ‘CODA’ and stars Dylan O’Brien, Mark Ruffalo and Rob Delaney.
