Crafting #Jacquemus Look 48 from the « Le Bonheur » collection, featuring « La Robe Alta ». Crafted in silk mousseline and featuring Algues embroidery, each seaweed element is created from bias cut strips of silk organza. The strips are folded in two and stitched along their entire length with a subtly undulating seam, deliberately introducing slight variations in width to create an organic, non repetitive shape. A micro overlock finish is then applied, following the contour of each piece. The embroidery is composed of the meticulous assembly of several hundred individual elements. On a single dress, more than 400 of these hand applied motifs are attached one by one, their accumulation creating volume and depth while preserving the lightness and fluidity of the organza. This embroidery technique is developed by the Parisian atelier Paloma. #MakingOf #SewingTiktok #Craft #Asmr
