HBCU alumni continue to make history in filmmaking.⁠ ⁠ Clark Atlanta University alumnus and filmmaker Lekeith Jones has made history after becoming the first HBCU alum to surpass 1 million YouTube views with a short film. Created entirely without a production budget, Urgency has grown into one of YouTube’s most-watched independent short films, proving that compelling storytelling can reach audiences around the world regardless of budget.⁠ ⁠ The film was produced by Clark Atlanta alumni Stephon Greenlee, Kaylan T. Fox, and Jada Alicia, with Tre Hazelwood serving as Director of Photography and Julian Miller contributing as part of the filmmaking team.
