The most patriotic thing you can do is be critical of your nation’s flaws. I served 6 total years in our military. I came from a military family. I have a great love and admiration for what this country was built upon. Unfortunately the reality is we are not what we used to be currently. It was a lovely time in Washington DC, and absolutely honored to be in our nation’s capitol for its 250th birthday. There is a lot of work to do, and the only way to do it is by doing your part as individual Americans.
