Coming August 8th 🐈🐾 Chicago’s inaugural neighborhood cat-spotting walking tour is officially headed to Lincoln Square for a massive day dedicated entirely to local felines, community fun, and neighborhood street activations. These types of cat tours have been completely popping off in other cities with hundreds to thousands of people showing up to hunt for pets, and now it’s our turn.
The “Caturday” celebration will kick off at 12:30pm with a special cat video festival screening at the Davis Theater, followed by the free walking tour from 3-5pm. The tour will take place within the boundaries of the Chicago River, Montrose Avenue, Foster Avenue, and Damen Avenue—giving you the perfect route to spot local cats hanging out on front porches, in “catios,” or peeking out of windows!
You can get your kitty on the official tour map, sign up to volunteer, or get your local business involved over at lincolnsquarecattour ✨ Who wants to go spot some cats?! 👇
