Mallory Knox, 2000trees Festival LIVE REVIEW: Despite picking and choosing their appearances a bit more sparingly than in the past, the adoration that continues to exist for Mallory Knox is a testament to just how much their output means to so many. And in making a welcome return to 2000trees, they demonstrate why they are still very much a cornerstone of the UK rock scene. This is done via a carefully constructed and beautifully anthemic reminder of just how many absolutely monumental choruses they have in their arsenal. ‘Ghost In The Mirror’ has arms aloft in every space occupied throughout this stifling tent, whilst ‘Beggars’ and ‘Wake Up’ still feel as laser-focused and audacious now as they did when they took the scene by storm some 13 years ago.
