Kelsie was recognized during a pregame, on-field ceremony at Citi Field. In her honor, the Amazin’ Mets Foundation, led by Foundation President Alex Cohen, awarded a $5,000 grant to New York Girls Baseball (nygirlsbaseball), a nonprofit growing the game and expanding access to the sport of baseball.
