Marion County Search and Rescue volunteers rescued a plus-sized four-legged patient from a rugged stretch of backcountry days before the July Fourth holiday weekend, officials say.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the volunteer rescue crew saved the dog — a husky named Sabbath — on Thursday after he got injured hiking with his owners near Ollalie Butte.
