We are deeply grateful to honor the memory of Kathleen "Kathy" Hamilton. In her honor, the Hamilton family recently donated over $1,300 to support the Lewis Central Special Olympics Program—a beautiful reflection of Kathy's lifelong dedication to our community's youth.
Kathy passed away in May, but her legacy of warmth and service continues to impact our schools. As her family shared in her obituary:
"Kathy had a special place in her heart for children and education. She had a natural passion for working with students and became a beloved substitute teacher for many years within the Lewis Central school district. Young students, older students, and families alike appreciated her kindness, patience, and caring spirit. She and her husband Tom were also involved with pottery classes, where many enjoyed connecting with them both."
Thank you to the Hamilton family for this incredibly generous gift. These funds will directly support our Special Olympics athletes, carrying forward Kathy’s ...
