Boston Harbor is about to welcome one of its most spectacular events in years. Sail Boston 2026 returns July 11–16, bringing more than 50 tall ships from 21 countries and over 60 vessels to the city’s waterfront as part of the national Sail250 celebration marking America’s 250th anniversary. The festivities begin with the Grand Parade of Sail on Saturday, July 11, before visitors can explore historic ships, international training vessels and military ships docked throughout Downtown Boston, the Seaport and Charlestown. Among the ships making the journey are Italy’s Amerigo Vespucci, Argentina’s Libertad, Poland’s Dar Młodzieży and the U.S. Coast Guard’s Eagle. By the way, we have a weekly newsletter rounding up what’s going on in and around Boston. One newsletter, once a week. Link in bio.
