Quincy is getting a Trader Joe’s. The grocery chain has confirmed that a new store is coming soon to downtown Quincy, where it’ll serve as the anchor retail tenant in a major mixed-use development on McConville Way. According to the city, the project will also include 300 new housing units and a 100,000-square-foot medical facility operated by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Both parts of the development are expected to be completed in 2027, so there’s still a bit of a wait, but if you’ve been hoping for easier access to Cookie Butter and frozen orange chicken on the South Shore, it’s officially on the way.
