Your childhood is back on the big screen. Boston is hosting a full week of Studio Ghibli films from May 1–7 at Coolidge Corner Theatre (thecoolidge) featuring some of the most iconic animated movies ever made. The series celebrates director Hayao Miyazaki and includes Spirited Away, Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo, and more, plus select screenings in 35mm and new 4K restorations. It’s co-presented by the Japan Society of Boston (japansocietyboston), making it one of the best ways to experience these films in a proper theater setting.
