Boston is getting one of the best sky views of the month.
The full Pink Moon peaks April 1 at 10:13pm, but your best chance to see it is just after sunset as it rises during twilight.
It’ll appear as a bright, silver-white moon, not pink, (upsetting, we know) with the name coming from early spring flowers.
The moon will also look full the night before and after, so you’ve got a couple chances to catch it.
Bonus: on April 2, you might spot it sitting close to the bright star Spica.
Look east around sunset for the best view.
By the way, we have a weekly newsletter with what’s worth knowing about and doing in Boston. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
