Perfectly seasonal simple Peach Tart

Preheat oven to 400F
Thaw out one sheet of puff pastry and roll it out slightly. Put on parchment lined baking sheet. Score the outside of the pastry being careful not to cut all the way through. Dock then inside of the pastry with a fork. I like to add about 1/3 of a cup of jam and I usually use apricot or peach jam. Spread it evenly on the inside of the pastry.
Cut 3 or 4 peaches (or nectarines🙄) into wedges, no need to peel and sprinkle them with the juice of a lemon. Shingle them on top of the jam within the outer edges of the tart. Sprinkle with a little course sugar (I used turninado). Beat one egg with 1 tablespoon of water and brush on the outside rim of the tart and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the fruit gets juicy. Remove it from the oven
