Andrea Schlieker reflects on Georg Baselitz’s exhibition ‘Back Again’ at White Cube Bermondsey. Returning to themes that defined his work over more than six decades – including Elke, his wife and longtime muse, the eagle and the Hero – the exhibition brings together some of the last paintings Georg Baselitz created before his passing in April 2026.
