On View: Emmi Whitehorse at Parrish Art Museum
Emmi Whitehorse is included in the Parrish Art Museum and The FLAG Art Foundation’s ‘FRESH PAINT’ series, a rotating series of single-artwork exhibitions.
For the presentation, Emmi has created a new diptych, titled ‘Reseeding Chaco’ (2026), which will be on view for the first time at the Parrish.
Working from atmospheric grounds of vaporous oil wash, Emmi builds intricate symbolic configurations in Conté pencil, pastel and chalk, layering and interlacing precise, linear forms across the surface.
📍 Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill, New York, until 28 September 2026.
