VICTORY! Major win just in from NC on paid family and medical leave! The 47,000 NC MomsRising members have been engaging for years and years to move forward paid family and medical leave, with moms and parents pushing this policy to victory through more than 24 local governments in NC in a march to the state capitol. Victories don’t happen by accident: We’re thankful to our partners and to all the moms who have been meeting with leaders, making calls, sharing their stories, sending and delivering letters, holding events, speaking at briefings, and so much more. In good news, the NC pressure over the years is working: The NC House just unanimously passed the Public Workforce Modernization Act (following a unanimous Senate vote in June). Now signed by Gov.
