A Minnesota World War II veteran received an unforgettable tribute during Forest Lake's Fourth of July parade.
Bill Jeans, a Forest Lake native who recently turned 100, was surprised with a special flyover as his family watched from the ground and in the air. Jeans served at Pearl Harbor during World War II before returning home to raise eight children, build a business and leave a lasting legacy in his community. His family says the donated flight made for an emotional Fourth of July they'll never forget.
