Former University of Arizona guard Kerr Kriisa is now facing federal fraud charges in an alleged $2.2 million scheme. Federal prosecutors say Kriisa allegedly used fake identities and false emergency stories to get money from two victims between 2022 and June 2026. According to the indictment, Kriisa allegedly posed as other people, including his own mother, while claiming his family urgently needed money for things like medical treatments, family emergencies, and other financial issues. Kriisa played at Arizona from 2020 to 2023, where he became a fan favorite and led the Pac-12 in assists during his two full seasons with the Wildcats. He is facing five counts of wire fraud.
