Is this Mexico’s most underrated city? 🇲🇽
This is Guadalajara, and it should definitely be on your Mexico itinerary! Here is how to spend a few days there...
Start by staying in Colonia Americana, one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the city, packed with art, cafes, bars and some seriously good food. There are loads of local studios and galleries to explore here too, so it feels like you’re actually getting a proper sense of the city.
You also need to visit Tlaquepaque, a colourful neighbourhood full of shops, restaurants, music and places to wander.
And if you’re in Guadalajara, a day trip to Tequila is non-negotiable. The tequila train is an all-inclusive day with tequila, food, agave fields and a proper look at one of Mexico’s most famous traditions.
Then for something completely different, go to Lucha Libre on a Tuesday night. It’s loud, chaotic and honestly one of the most fun things you can do in the city.
