José Ortega Commits to Cal State Dominguez Hills Calexico High School right-handed pitcher José Ortega has announced his commitment to continue his academic and baseball career at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. The Toros compete in NCAA Division II as members of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), one of the nation’s premier Division II baseball conferences. The program is coming off a 29-22 overall record and 25-15 conference record, finishing tied for second in the CCAA and advancing to the CCAA Baseball Championship Tournament.
