In this video, Jared letterpress printed a greeting card with black rubber base ink using a 4x6 Golding Official No. 2 tabletop printing press. The text on the front of the card states, “Impressive!” This was typeset in 36 point of the Cheltenham typeface with “press” being italicized. The image, printed from a halftone, depicts a Chandler & Price jobbing press. The back of the card includes an image of a Washington hand press, our museum monogram, and the words “Printed at the Sacramento History Museum.” Fifty cards were printed in this press run! #impressive #SacHistoryMuseum #sacramento #museum #printing
