Our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students are putting their classroom knowledge into practice where it matters most: right here in our local community!
Through the program's Parkinson’s Disease Stretch Clinics, Marist DPT students work one-on-one with local residents to build strength, mobility, and connection. These clinics provide invaluable, hands-on experiential learning for our graduate students before they begin full-time clinical rotations, while delivering vital, patient-centered care to our neighbors!
These students are learning the true value of community-centered care, empathy, and service. This initiative highlights the incredible dedication of both our students and our faculty to making an impact that extends beyond campus. Read the full story using the link in our bio.
