SLOW DOWN to save whales. 🤍 🐳 We just joined dozens of people in Seward, Alaska, to honor the life of the dead pregnant fin whale that came into port on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship last month.   The deaths of this mother and her unborn calf are a devastating illustration of how dangerous speeding ships can be for whales. Research shows that once a ship exceeds about 15 knots, the probability of a strike being fatal approaches 100%.   Cruise companies have the power to help prevent tragedies like this.
