The crux of it for me at sixty-three, is to work hard and always keep an eye out for doing what you like — and always look for the opportunities. “Doing what you like” often won’t pay the bills. So work hard at your miserable 9-5. But “doing what you like” will keep you interesting and happier. And “opportunities” means every aspect of life — meeting new people, doing things that get you out of the house and off the couch.
