Mason Patel is headed to play for the A’s! ⚾ ️ The Georgia Tech star reliever, who became the first-ever Stopper of the Year finalist in program history, will become the fourth Patel to sign an MLB contract. He also dominated out of the bullpen this season, tossing 13.2 scoreless innings with a 0.00 ERA. He joins Karan Patel, who was drafted by the White Sox in 2019; Dinesh Patel, who signed with the Pirates in 2009; and Manny Patel, who was drafted by the Mariners in 1993.
