This weekend filled my heart in a way I didn’t know I needed. For the first time in years, I returned to Summer Meltdown’s home in Darrington! Not as a producer, but simply as a dad, a partner, a friend, and a member of this incredible community. Sharing that place with Elijah, Rose, and friends, and seeing the infamous Light Bright glow in the forest again brought back so many beautiful memories. For 14 summers we put roots down and that land became home. It witnessed friendships becoming family, countless sunrises and late-night conversations, incredible music, unforgettable art, and moments that shaped so many of our lives. I want to give huge props to the APOG Festival team. What you created this weekend was truly incredible. You honored that epic property while creating something uniquely your own.
