During Samuel Basallo’s go-ahead home run in the 8th inning, the broadcast never tracked the baseball. Instead of following the ball off the bat, the camera stayed zoomed in on Royals pitcher Matt Strahm’s reaction the entire time, letting viewers watch him realize it was gone. The craziest part? This wasn’t a replay or an alternate angle—it was the live broadcast. Definitely one of the most unusual camera decisions you’ll ever see during a home run… - follow ( slugger.report ) for insane baseball content - #baseball #mlb #baseballplays #mattstrahm #kansascityroyals
