Jason Hawkins is the tournament host and has only failed to win his home event one time and that was last year when former World #1 Wes Cupp came to town and walked away with the title in 2021. Jason is looking to defend his home turf and take back the title in 2022 and wants to get off to a good start. As you witnessed in the last video, Jason played an even par round of 36 in just under 24 minutes on the front side, which is definitely the tougher of the two sides, so he definitely be carrying some momentum into this back 9 and is expecting to post a good number. Overall it was a round of good ball striking, with several good birdie putts to start out the back 9, but very loose putting on the final 2 holes led to a +3 back nine even with hitting 8 of 9 greens in regulation.
