Plastic hanging permits are no longer required, but it is still necessary to purchase a virtual K-State parking permit to park on campus. Permits can be purchased online on the K-State parking portal. When purchasing your permit, ensure that your vehicle information is accurate and up to date. License plate recognition, or LPR, is a system of cameras placed on top of parking department vehicles to scan license plates. If the vehicle does not have a valid parking permit, or is in an unauthorized zone, the owner is issued a citation. Event parking locations vary based on event type and the event location.
