This weeks’ WHY MB comes from the SUPERB Aleksander Colon, ‘26‼️ “Hi, my name is Aleksander Colon, and I am a senior in high school. When choosing schools, I didn’t really know where I wanted to go. Before MB, I had been at the same school for 10 years, and I was nervous to leave the only place I had ever known. In ninth grade, I transferred here, and it was the best decision I have ever made. As soon as I got on campus, I immediately felt at home and knew this was where I was meant to be. Here, you can walk up to anyone and easily start a conversation because the school is so close knit. At first, though, I was still afraid of making new friends, that’s when school sports played an important role. Since soccer preseason started in the summer, I had already begun forming friendships, and those same friends are the ones I still hang out with today.
