Someone says, “I’ll take that away,” in a meeting. Have they agreed with you?    Not necessarily.    For example:    🔵 I’m not sure those figures are correct. I’ll take that away and check with finance.    🔵 You’ve raised a good point about the deadline. I’ll take that away and speak to the project team.    🔵 We may need another person on the account. Let me take that away and see what we can do.    The phrase sounds positive, but it doesn’t mean a decision has been made.
