You’re halfway through a sentence in a meeting. Then one small word stops you.    It’s not the vocabulary. It’s a preposition. Or a verb pattern you’ve learnt over the years.    Two more that catch people out just as often:    ❌ I’m agree with you  ✅ I agree with you    ❌ I have a proposition for the team  ✅ I have a suggestion for the team (proposition sounds like an offer, not an idea)    None of these are big mistakes.
