The new 788HS is the last and most extreme evolution of the 720S, 750S, and 765LT supercar series, packing 777 bhp from McLaren’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It gets a full carbon aero package with an S-duct hood, aggressive splitter, raised active rear wing, and racing-inspired diffuser to make it sharper and more serious than the cars before it. With only 200 being built globally, split between coupe and Spider, this feels like McLaren closing one of its greatest modern eras with a proper collector-spec sendoff.
