Deering Estate has partnered with the Genealogical Society of Greater Miami to commemorate America250 by spotlighting members of the Deering family whose lives intersect with the nation’s early history. The exhibition, “Family History is America’s Story: Tracing the Deering Family through Time,” follows the American narrative from before the Revolutionary War through the present day. The exhibition is on display daily through October 31st inside the Richmond Cottage Dining Room. As one of Miami-Dade County’s seven designated Heritage Parks, the Deering Estate plays a vital role in preserving our community’s history and natural environment while offering meaningful recreational and cultural experiences.
