I've been training in these since the MoveClub Chicago event in May, and the switch has been noticeable.
If you're lifting in running shoes, here's the problem: the cushioned sole compresses under load. Every deadlift, carry, and single-leg movement starts on an unstable base. You're compensating before the bar even moves.
Zero-drop changes that. Your foot sits flat, heel to toe. Your glutes have to work. Your feet have to grip. That ground connection is the difference between fighting your shoes and actually using them.
nunorm.shoes -- foot-shaped, zero-drop, wide toe box. I wear them for lifting, carries, and pretty much everything else that isn't running.
