Some know the story, but most don’t. I started behind a camera in high school back when schools had dark rooms, unlimited resources, and creative programs that allowed students to truly explore their craft. Today, many creative programs are limited by school funding, making it harder for students to access the equipment, software, and hands-on experience needed to enter the world of sports media. That’s something we’re looking to change. Every year, the path into sports media becomes more complex. Professional cameras, editing software, design tools, and the right mentorship are expensive and often out of reach for many students. The goal of The Blur Foundation is to bridge that gap by providing students with the equipment, education, and real-world experience needed to succeed.
