Photographing the Wave with the Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG | Art Lens
One dream location to photograph of mine has been the Wave. It's something that looks fake and too perfect to exist in real life. So when I got my permit to visit, I wanted to make sure I could capture as much of the Wave as possible. For that reason I took the widest rectilinear lens I could find, Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG | Art Lens.
This lens was absolutely perfect for this location. I was able to capture the breathtaking rock formations and patterns from many different angles. I was super pleased to know that this lens although being ultra wide, is extremely sharp and offers minimal distortion.
The whole day I had a ton of fun getting high and low with the lens to get different perspectives of this dream location. Ultimately, the heat made me have to leave this location instead of spending all day, but I hope to return with this same set up one day.
