Cameron Diaz once argued that long-term couples shouldn't feel pressured to share a bedroom every night, saying separate sleeping spaces should be more widely accepted. The actress suggested sleeping apart doesn't reflect the strength of a relationship and could even help some couples build a happier marriage. Speaking on the Lipstick on the Rim podcast, Diaz said: 'We should normalize separate bedrooms. I would literally, like, I have my house, you have yours... I will go and sleep in my room, you go sleep in your room. I’m fine.' She clarified she was speaking hypothetically, adding that she no longer feels that way because her husband, Benji Madden, is 'so wonderful.' The couple have been married since 2015. 📸 Getty #celebrity #camerondiaz
