China has reiterated its rejection of the 2016 South China Sea arbitration ruling, describing the decision as "illegal, invalid and without binding force."⁣ ⁣ Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said Beijing neither accepts nor recognises the ruling and would not accept any claims or actions based on it.
