I stayed at Singita Sasakwa earlier this year and honestly can’t say enough about this property. Set high above the private Grumeti Reserve, it has one of the best views I’ve ever experienced from a hotel. The interiors are beautiful and full of character, the cottages feel incredibly private, and the food and service are exactly what Singita does so well. The reserve also sits along the route of the Great Migration, making it an incredible place to witness one of the natural world’s greatest spectacles. Knowing that this 350,000-acre reserve was created to help protect the migration route makes the experience feel even more meaningful. Through the Grumeti Fund, that work continues today, protecting the landscape, its wildlife and the communities around it.
