Larch Madness in the North Cascades is a special thing in the Pacific Northwest. These trees (two species, actually: Subalpine Larch - Larix lyallii - and the Western Larch - Larix laricina - also called Tamarack) are a pretty rare type of deciduous conifer and hard to get to compared to other conifers. And I've been wanting to photograph them for years. Everything finally aligned for me to get out and get some shots of these incredible-looking trees at their peak fall color. I had no idea the views of the North Cascades that were in store for me, though! I was so distracted by all the incredible panoramic views, that I barely pulled off making this video about it! 😉 Don't forget to subscribe! ► youtube.com/channel/UCus0EfumCZFhgT2_LDxWXfg?sub_confirmation=1 Newsletter: foxandlens.com/newsletter ============================= Relevant Links/Stuff Mentioned: ============================= 📼 ► Want to see more behind the scenes?
